ive been noticing lately when i make right turns there is a grind or vibration, kind of almost like something is slipping (maybe?) coming from the front drivers wheel area, any ideas?
i havent investigated yet, just looking for opinions before i get into it, thanks
after looking at your pictures and info on it, i see that its a 4x4.Have ya done any work to the front end, like replace ball joints, suspension parts, Bearings? You can do a visible check on it. Raise your front end both wheels , then spin your tires and listen for the noise / feel for the vibration. Could also be a bad front axle (u Joints attaching the axle itself) also have someone turn the steering wheel while your out there looking at it. This would be my 1st step, beeing the visual check.

never no work to it yet, ive only owned it around a month now, is it common for such things to go bad at 55k?
I just had this happen to my 03' 150 FX4. I thought it was the front end but turned out to be the rear diff clutches in the backend. Ford replaced the clutches and had no problems since. It was anytime I would turn the wheel hard to the left or the right. Mostly when I pulled into parking spaces.

im going to do a visual tommorrow
depends on the recent owner(im taking it that it has changed hands???)How hard he drove it and how he took care of it. I cant see you putting 55,000 on a truck in a month, so it was bought used correct?Used cars can come with bugs. I had them from day one with mine when i purchased it used. Wedge88 might be on to something there, wouldnt hurt to check that out either
What size tires are those? I'm sure you have already ruled this out, but it's not tire rub is it? They don't look like oversize tires, but my vision is as good as a dad gum goose...

that was my very first thought when i heard it, but they are the stock tire size so i highly doubted it, but thats exactly how it sounds
