01 Rear Diff Grinding

I have a 2001 F-350 drw short bed and just had the rear serviced. I'm
getting a lot of vibration and chatter when turning and backing. It only did
it before when it was cold. Now it is constant. Any ideas?

Go to you local dealer and get a couple of bottles of Friction Modifier for limited slip differentials. That should cure it for you.

If you have limited slip, it's more than likely lack of friction modifier as stated before. If you're under warranty go to your dealer and they'll know what to do, if not, you can get the friction modifier online for pretty cheap. You're supposed to add 8 ounces when you change the fluid for LS rear ends. Ford part # XL-3.
