Cab to frame mounting question

I am replacing the mounts on my 56 and my question concerns the wedge shaped rubber that attaches to the frame on the rear mount (above and outside of the arm ). The old piece is firmly attached to the frame, is it held on mechanically of is it just stuck in place? The new piece does not seem to have a way to attach it so how does it stay in place? Thanks

There is no actual attachment. It just wedges in. Over time the rubber probably forms a bond to the frame rail or bracket. Whack it gently with a dead blow hammer
and it will come loose.
