Hi all. On the left front side of the engine compartment, near the battery, is a sticker that says the computer in my 2000 F-350 diesel was re-programed on 11-19-03. The code number is XU7F-12A650-AA. What exactly does this mean and is it the most current up-date. Thanks.

I think the XU7F-AA identifies the PCM number and the -12A650- is the revision.
There was a sticker on the inside of the drivers door post with a four digit code on it, and there may still be one on the PCM itself. IF my guess is accurate your truck was originally a MNM0 box code
Ok, so what exacly did this upgrade do for the truck? More power? better mileage? Lower emissions? Are there any newer upgrades I should be asking my dealer about?
yes, probably all of them. the "reflash" is the program that was in the brand-new trucks that they were programming, off the assembly line. you got the benefit because the owner at the time took it in for work, because something wasnt right. while they were at it, they reprogrammed the ECM. if your truck is running good now, no need to change the programming from stock, back to stock. go aftermarket.

It's entirely possible that none of those things were effected by the reflash. Depends on what the update was for. The dealer will not reflash it just for fun. Only if a newer one is available at the time you take it in, and once the programming is changed they will not change it back if you don't like it.
The other possiblility is that the PCM had some type of problem maybe went clear out, and when it was fixed the put the latest update in it at the time, and put the stickers on it so the next person working on it knows what code is actually in it.
