swifer wet-jet
to all those who have pets (cats, dogs, any pets that walk on the floor) please throw away and discontinue using the solution for the swifer wet jet because it contanes ANTI-FREEZE and it will kill your pets when they lick of there feet NO JOKE my great uncle dog died from it and he was an inside dog, his homemakers 2 inside cat's died a week later they both used the swiffer wet jet

"Veterinary toxicologists at the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center have reviewed the claim described in a widely distributed email alleging a relationship between the use of Swiffer Wet Jet and liver failure in a dog. The email alleges that exposure to the ingredients in Swiffer Wet Jet caused a dog's death."
There's something similiar floating around the net about Febreze too.
I've gotten sucked into those things so often, I check snopes on just about every email I get now.

i always knew those things were crap. especially with two dogs tracking in all that mud what's a little swiffer going to do. i try to get my g/f to clean with a big mop i got her and she keeps going on about wanting one of those swiffer gadgets things... thanks for the info you've vindicated me.

Tell your girlfriend swiffers are for little old ladies with a speck of dust every now and then (my mom) not for truck people with sporting dogs (me). If she wants to use it twice a day to pick up every six hairs the dog sheds, fine, but if she wants to clean once a week, forget it
