C6 strength
I've just found out that it's a C6 and not a AOD behind the 351w in my 88 bronco. What i would like to know is if anyone has any good ideas of how much hp/ftp it will live with.
I'm considering a turbo or stroker or even both in the future, and it would be nice to know what ithe trans can take without beefing.
I will use a stock stall converter, 3.08:1 gearing and probably 31" tires.
(30" tall now)

The C6 is a heavy duty light truck automatic transmission. It will take alot more HP then the AOD(medium duty light truck O/D automatic transmission). Put a shift kit in her and keep her cool, you should have no problems.
