BBJ.....just HOW do you change out those pins? cause my shop jsut said today that they can't get the old ones out. i'm in DIRE need for new pins on my drivers side door.
yeah fighting to get the dang door open. cheap plastic.....
to get the pins out put a cutoff wheel on a die griner and cut the old pin in half and it comes right out. sometimes the old pin is a pain to get out cause a groove gets worked into it. just gotta keep wiggling and they will come out. do one pin at a times and make sure to door is supported so you dont tweak your hinges.
good idea. i'll have to give that a try. and i'm guessin the new pins/bushings are easy enough to make sure they aren't gonna come out. i think someone had already broken the inside handle on mine, i've got a metal one on the drivers side
4 door hinge pin kits, 1 drivers side inside door handle. $30!!
i would like some metal handles nice stainless.....my 94.5 has chrome handles inside i think that goes to 96 then they got cheap plastic......im gonna see if i can get the older ones they look nicer.
