My mother's oven had developed a problem - it would work for a while and then the temperature display would turn to the error code F3 and it would start cooling down. We looked in the owner's manual for the meaning of F3, and found nothing. A phone call to Sears revealed that nobody there knew the meaning of F3 either. All I could think of was to change the temperature probe, so we bought a new one (at significant expense), slid the oven from the wall, and installed it.
It seemed to solve the problem, for a while. But after a few weeks, the oven stopped working again and the F3 code reappeared. We searched the web extensively, but found no clue as to what it meant.
Finally, my mother called for in-house service. When the technician arrived, he looked at the oven and decided it needed a new computer module. But my mother was suspicious - she asked if he knew for sure what the F3 code meant. He replied that he wasn't really sure, but he thought it was the computer. She told him that unless he was sure, she wouldn't authorize the repair.
The technician said "Let me go out to The Truck and check." Five minutes later, he was back with the answer. An answer we'd been searching for for weeks, to no avail.
It was then that I realized that, if I had a Truck, I would have The Answers, too.
Man... a couple weeks ago I was rolling down 4th Ave and stopped at the light. Wouldn't ya know, right next to me a Che*y guy in a 2001 1500 is revving and giving me the dirty eyeball. Here I am sitting in my 10 year old truck thinkin "Why the heck not... my truck's kinda fast..." So I glare back at him with confidence... We both mash down the throttle and off we go... Flowmaster rumble and chirping tires fill my ears. We're neck and neck and them bam...he's gone. Then I come back to my senses and realize that my 33s and 3.08s will never get me any good kills. LOL
And that's why I NEED a LIGHTNING!!!! Just kiddin... that's an weird story ya told... Ever find out what 'F3' meant???
