P1400 code

P1400 code
Hi:
I have a 02 Explorer with a P1400 code the code first came up a few months ago, back then I erased the code and it didn't reappear untill recently.
The code comes up when the engine temp is cool and Im into about a mile of my trip.
If I erase the code after a mile of travel it won"t come back for a day or two.
I replaced the DPFE sensor with one from Auto Zone the problem was gone for 2 days, I thought I had problem solved untill I drove the vehicle on a trip about 60 miles let the vehicle sit 2hrs and upon returning home a mile into the trip the code reappeared.
The engine is 4.0 6 cyl with 74,000 on it.
I appreiciated any advice in troubleshooting this problem.
