whats a good price to pay for a used 428 cj ? i found one in a 64 ford truck, i'd like to see it in my 78! also, what cars where they in? i know mustangs and torenos *spelling* any others? thanks

Cougers,Rancheroes,Cyclones, and if you go with its brother, the 428 police interceptor, you can find them in the big ford cars.

Just make sure that (A) its actually a 428 and (B) its a cobrajet. These are pretty hard to find and worth coin when you do. Don't go on block numbers alone. Make sure it has the externally balanced flywheel, check the stroke, and if you can drop the flywheel you should see an irregular "C" that looks scratched into the rear of the block if its a CJ.
