VIN plate/ Sticker on E250

Hello from Belgium,

I just bought an Econoline E250 1978 with the camper van option from Cobra in England where it was imported from Florida 10 years ago, till here it sounds nice, the problem in Belgium is that I cannot register the van because there's no VIN plate nor sticker on it (the van was restored many times) I've asked to Ford Belgium but they didn't imported the van in Belgium so they can't help me, I think I have to ask to Ford US but I realy don't know how to do ...
(any help will be very useful)

It seems it was registered like that in England 10 years ago!

I didn't see any serial number on the frame aswell, just the little plate on the dashboard, is there any number hiden somewhere on the van?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Regards,
Christian

The door jam, upper frame rail, under the hood in the engine compartment on the pasenger side near the water sprayers on the cowl, and I know there are more places to look, but I can't think of them right now.

Thanks for the fast reply, I'll check tomorow(it's 2 AM in Belgium), I opened the driver door yesterday to repair some electric, I didn't see anything over there.
I'll try to see something on the upper frame rail.
Don't hesitate to send me other places next time please.
Regards,
Christian

Just so you know, FTE has a Large Van forum for the E-series.

The VIN# should be stamped into the frame on the top rail passenger side usually between the rad & firewall.
.
scrub the dirt rust off & look close.

Then Post what numbers you have.

It should start with E25

W = 351M
S = 400
V = 460

Btw, what numbers on the dash ?

There shouldn't be anything there.

The Rating plate is on the driver's door.
