Hi, just making my introduction as a new member. I've bought my '53 F100 in the Netherlands 2 months ago, bought it from a guy who imports American oldtimers from California for a living. Did I say I live in Belgum?
Anyway, the F100 still has the original flathead V8, but I haven't heard it running yet. I guess it will take me some time (months, years) to get it going again. But when it roars again, going to throw a big party for my friends who all want to hear what a American flatty sounds like. I'm planning on doing some hotrodding to the car (IFS, 4-link rear suspension, offenhauser or edelbrock cilinderheads, new better flowing headers, ...), and I've already had a lot of help from the 48-60 forum taking her apart.
Any other folks from Belgium out there?
Berre
Sounds like you have a great truck there. We have an International Chapter located here. If you head down the main forum page it is near the bottom. Pop in and say HI.
