Bucket seats

The bucket seats in my 1990 F250 4x4 extended cab seem to have only one position...the backrest seems permanently stuck in one single neutral position,which is leaning back a ways and I can't seem to find anything to adjust the backrest so I'm closer to the steering wheel. This is the first newer rig I've owned without any adjustments possible to the seat other than the sliding rail under the seat? Even my 20 year-old volvo has adjustable backrests? I've taken it apart and found nothing obvious....Am I missing something?
