Hey guys,
Been a while since I posted.
First off have not had any more problems with frront brakes seizing.
I don't know for sure which fix it was. Last time apart I put on the second brake hose, pulled the bearings, repacked and tightened down nuts a little differently.
What I think finally did the fix was completely bleeding the system and replacing the fluid.
Anyway,
My questions this time are...
How high can I lift before I start having to modify things like longer shocks,
replace pitman arm or have to worry about alignment issues.
Dave
Well there's always the 1, 2, and 3" body lift that you don't have to worry about alignment. Then with anything you do with suspension will mess with alignment. You can get 2" coil spacers, and blocks for the rear that won't require longer shocks or anything. Anything under 3" doesn't require drop pitman arm.
Thanks Jerome,
I already have a set of spring spacers off ebay. They were advertised as being for a 2.5 lift but these things are only about an inch or so thick is that right or did I get ripped.
Also, I was told you need a special wrench to get to the nut inside the spring
is that true and if so where can I get one?
body lifts are never a good idea IMHO. a 1 in spacer is pushing it for lift before you are going to start having alignment problems without changing brackets etc with the TTB frontend you have in that rig.
