1) What color is the firewall supposed to be?
2) What color are the front inner fenders (the sections visible under the hood)?
3) What color are the front inner fenders inside the wheelwell?
4) What are the colors for the core support and the frame itself?
Based on what limited knowledge I have, at least for a 65.... The firewall is body color, the inner fenders/core suppot/frame are black and the inside of the fenders are the same as the outside (or body color). Take a peek at my gallery.
On my 61 firewal, innerfenders, and core support were black and inside of fenders was body color. No idea if this is original correct but thats how it was when I got it. Rich.
The black that Ford used was gloss black, although many restorers use "satin" black. The satin will look really nice for longer with little upkeep. Flat black is wrong and looks wrong. But, it's your truck...up to you.

Looks like the core support and firewall was body color, inner fenders black.Mine for now are all black.A work in progress and haven,t decided on body color.I used Rust-oliem semi-gloss black for frame and all.I think it looks good. Larry
