LED tailights
OK, i remember hearing something about this on here before, but i couldnt find it with the search button.
my left brake light was out so i decided to spend a few extra dollars and get LED bulbs. (i plan on altezzas sonn anyways so i thought why not.)
So i put them in. blew a couple fuses. but i realized since they are diodes, they have to go a certain way. so i flipped them, put in new fuses, and checked again. The brake lights work perfectly, but the park lights wont come on. So i flipped them again, (back to the first spot just to see) and then the park lights worked but not the brake lights. they seemed pretty bright on park lights then when i tapped the brakes they went really dim.
So i guess my question is will led bulbs even work with a 99 ranger. Maybe the current flows a different way through the bulb for the brake and park lights. Since an led will only pass current a certain way, this could be the problem.
