L.E.D Taillights problems

i have a recon led third brake light in the truck for the last year or so. it has never had a problem, i love it. yesterday i installed replacement led taillights into the stock tailights. they lit up fine everything works good.then i turned on the parking lights, now my third brake light has a parking light function. what gives? it still works as a brake light but has a dim function also. i am no good at electrical problems but it seems to me that the led bulbs i put in are back feeding the system somehow. if that is even possible.so i ask your advise on how to fix or prevent this problem?

Go to the Electrical forum, I'm sure someone will be able to help. Sounds like the taillights are grounding through the brake light circuit and that is what is causing your 3rd brake light to glow.
