That's a big negatory on that one. Too much fuel melts pistons in diesels. Too much air does not exist.

Lots of the forums sponsors carry all kinds of gauges.

Motorhaven, DPP, Black Cloud, Geno's garage, TS performance.....etc. etc.

Click on a few of the sponsor links...lots of options.

On the Sixgun....you might want to check this thread.

I read that thread, it appears they will warranty it if you buy from Gale Banks. But what about those other guages. Anyone hear of a tranny temp guage? Back to where I started I could not find the exact turbo actuator since I dont even know the model of my turbo....anyone have a junk yard nearby, Ill pay for shippin and the part if anyone can help out. My homemade bungee cord makes me feel like I should apply duct tape to the outside for body moldings. Thanks Troy

It came off and the wastegate went open and she fell on her face.

Anyone know where I can find a new turbo wastegate actuator for cheap?
When the bungee was attached did the codes come back?
I'm also thinking that you could just adjust the length of the rod shorter to increase spring pressure.

Kennedyford, I'd recommend just getting a pyrometer, boost gauge, and transmission temp if you have a manual tranny.

I dont have a manual tranny, got a brand spankin new suncoast badazz tranny, now I need the motor to work right. Kwikordead, I havent the tool to see the codes, but I believe I have the 1247 kicked. It surges while driving down the road with and without a load, im thinkin from a stream I read that i need to clean the IPR since I didnt a nono with some bad fuel. I think i will perform the mods too to increase fuel and oil pressure.

PM me your address I have a turbo sitting in my garage that has a fairly new actuator on it. It's yours for the bargain price of $0 ....just cover the shipping.

Talking waste gate

One of the first things I did to my PSD's when they came home was to do the doodad mod and disconnect the waste gate. Both trucks are well over 100,000mi. The worst case I've had was my #7500 trailer in a hurry and I pushed #42 preassure. I wouldn't recomend this but I learned from this to turn the programming down when pulling.
