Sliding Windows for the Cap

Hello Out There,
I have'nt posted in long time, been Very Busy with work!
Thats a good thing cuz now I got a wad-o-cash to dump into my 82 Bronco restoration project.
Currently I am curious to know:
Did Ford ever offer a sliding window option for the side windows in the cap?
If SO, where might I find a source for this?
If NOT, where might I find the stationary glass & its weather stripping?
Keep on Truckin
Matt

A very few have OEM sliding windows. You can buy aftermarket sliders from here:
http://www.crlaurence.com/productpag...S909_3845.html

If memory serves, they are somewhere between $250-300 for the pair. You cannot buy direct. You have to go through an auto glass shop.

Or just scrounge the salvage yards. There are a few out there still.

My uncle's 79 has the sliders, but mine doesn't....he won't give them up for love or money.

LMC is a distributor. They are also a distributor that I do not think will advertise on FTE, so I would consider that when looking for a place to buy (you can find all of the advertisers that help keep this site going up at the top of each screen). I would still stick with a local shop if it were me.
