Factory bed topper?

Factory bed topper?
So I have a factory bed topper (truck cap) for my 78 f150. The handle on the liftgate is seized. So to get it open I need to leave 1 of the side widows open or crawl through the sliding windows of the cab and cap then push the slide lever over to unlatch. My question is does any one know where I might be able to get a new handle and lock for the cap? I'd really like to put it back on my truck.

have you tried un-seizing the handle? I had an axle nut** once on my fiancee's corolla that i swear to you i was jumping on a six foot breaker bar and it wouldn't budge. bought and applied some PB blaster (link) and 15 minutes late *pop* !! worth a shot maybe? this stuff ain't your wd-40, it is the real deal. keep away from small animals, children who handle might prematurely turn into grown men, if you notice chest hair growing for more than four hours consult a physician. Ask your doctor if pb blaster is right for you. If you can't afford your medicine astra zeneca may be able to help...
