lift problems
I put a 3in body lift on my 84 F150 but I can't get the shift linkage compleatly off to weld the extention on. its held on up at the steering coloum by some sort of rubber thingy. I can't cut it off because I need the rubber thing andf i doubt I could get a new one. anyway one of you has had to have run into this problem before what can I do?the truck is usless without a shift linkage
