Engine codes 116 and 114

Engine codes 116 and 114
Hi all. My van has a low idle and may even stall if I don't let her warm up for a few min. It runs good when warm, just a lower idle I believe. I ran for codes and got KOEO 116 and then 114. Any ideas if this is my problem?

Update, the engine codes are now gone and now I have the AMP idiot light shining on the dash and the volts are way down on the voltmeter. I tested the volts on the battery under load (lights and heaters on) and the volts fell to 11. even without load the battery is only at 12 (I think it should be up to around 14 with a good alternator) Does anyone know what size my alternator might be? I have front and rear air so I think it would be the biggest one maybe 130 amps?

if you tell us your year and engine we might be able 2 answer.
also make sure the battery is good. if it doesn't hold a charge
it might cause trouble. since the "brains" run off the batt sometimes
when driving. good luck.

Its a 92 clubwagon with a 5L engine. The battery is new a month ago. When its running and with the lights and both front and rear air on the volts drop down to 11.4! I don't think the alt is working.

hi owl. my books go up 2 1991 but i'll give sum info.
first make sure your belts are tight. check wires for damage.
there are three main componants. the alt., battery and voltage regulator.
v reg. is a small bx with a 4 wire connection. located on the fan or fender wall
if you know a place that will take returns on electronic parts u might wanna
swap the VR. if not i'd have a someone test the alt before replacing it.
