Does anyone have or know of where I can get a parts breakout of the 1964 standard 3 speed manual trans (side shift)? Trans part # HEF AT
Being able to print one out that shows parts and names of parts would help me out greatly.
If anyone knows if the one used in the 63 is the same, I have the service manual and can scan pages in. Let me know. Do you have the Ford or Warner tranny? According to my book the tag is on one of the extension housing bolts.

Reason: adding info
Thanks for the reply, here's what I have...
the small tag bolted on has HEF AT 023453 (64 f100 standard trans #)
tail housing has C#TR-7A040-C (could be -O ?)
main case has C3AR-7006-E D/F F 3T12 (located near shifter arms on side)
I not sure of who makes it, The problem I have is trying to identify certain shafts for replacment. Not know the proper name(s) and locations might end up with incorrect parts ordered...that gets costly.
I have located some parts thru JobLot in Queens and also thru Greenssales in Ohio.
With some patchy looking surface wear/dammage...how hardy are these trans's for not wearing the bearing out quickly?
You can get all the bearings thru NAPA. Alot of the internal parts were used from the early 50's thru the late 70's. Some stuff is even available thru Ford. That tranny was used in cars and trucks. Parts are all over Ebay. You can get the gears, etc.. thru any truck parts supplier. A few suggestions........
OK. My book does not give info on those numbers. They do say the tag on one of the bolt on the extension housing is your identifying tranny number. Maybe Ford changed things on their numbering system in 64? If you have one like mine I can help you. Do you have the wherewithall to post pics?
Yes I am able to post pics...but no, the trans is at a trans shop right now.
It's case is probable very simular to the 63, 65, etc... differences would be internally with ratios or with the lengths of the input and tail housings.
I,m really only looking for the internal parts names...if your book breaks these out with diagram(s) and you dont mind scanning it. I would love to have it send to me via private message thru email.
I cant thank you enough!
It looks like the tailshaft is longer than what I have , but this gives me the correct names for parts and what they look like.
