Fuel Mileage
A few weeks ago I was having a problem with the engine running super quiet at idle. It was reccommended that I take it in and have the EBP sensor checked. Did that and the dealer couldn't find any bad codes but while they had it in the back they down loaded two new up-dates in the computer, or at least thats what the service guy said. Since then the truck feels stronger, runs better and appears to get better fuel mileage. I don't have any idea how close the overhead console readout is but since the update I have gotten as high as 22.8 mpg at 55mph. As I said, I have know idea how close the readout is and I haven't had time to check it buy miles driven versus fuel in the tank. I do know that I am well pleased with my 6.0 PSDs performance. Ford and FTE are the greatest!
so I get mostly 17-18 mpg on hiway. 03 F250 ext 6.0 PSD AT 4x4 3.73ls, may 03 build
