Thanks for the info........i think it hit a rev limiter.............it hasnt repeated the problem..........always had it in the economy mode......just added rotella syn at ten thousand.............runs great

Mine was doing the bucking thing with a load and slight throttle apply, most noticeable going up a grade. I unplugged the EGR valve and the problem was gone. I took to the dealer and they replaced the valve. No more issues and I also have the 1704 on an 04 6.0 I have not run anything other than the HP mode since I don't pull much of anything.

The acceleration rate is much higher than stock, and the transmission file must adapt.
All is normal.
