bug shield and headlight black outs
Does anyone know where I can find just a plain red flat bug shield for my '78 Ford? Anyone know who has those blackout covers that go over the headlights? I've looked thru the archives and on google and have not found what I needed.

I got these the other day. I'm returning them. They are complete POS. They are ill fitted and the brackets refused to stay on and when I had to use my own glue for them, they still looked like poop.

I had the black headlight covers on mine back in the 80's. The kit I bought was basically 2 square pieces of thin dark plexiglass that you trimed to fit the opening of the headlight bezels and some small L brackets you screwed into the bezels. I think the covers had some quick release pins or velcro so you could take them off easily. I didn't have them on long, as I could'nt see crap with them at night and got tired of taking them off and on.
