hood seal question

hood seal question
I purchased a westin bug shield to go on the front of my X.. it uses the existing hood seal plastic push pin clips that hold on the existing hood seal... problem is that my seal and it's clips have been gone for a long time.. anyone know where I can get some replacement push clips to mount my bug shield? A part number or source? Thanks for the help!

Auto zone should have them big enough. Maybe try another store. If that fails amazon.

The problem is that they don't have them big enough... I need to know the correct size to order them from amazon or wherever... Thanks for the suggestion

There are many ways to interpret "big enough".

Do you mean big enough cap retention surface to hold what is being retained? Big enough root diameter of the pin throat? Big enough retention flanges of the tree "branches"? Big enough pin length to pass through multiple holes (ie, bug shield thickness, hood seal thickness, and have enough length to get to the hole in the hood)?

Big enough needs more clarification to point you to more specific retainers.

Go by a local body shop, they probably have a bin full of extras.
