Question Turbo Boost
Will adjusting the timing do anything to turbo boost? Increase? Decrease?

nope, you would have to plug up your wastegate to get any more boost out of it unhooking it will increase it a little, but i just wire mine shut and it does a little better job

which way do i move the lever to close it? toward the rear of the engine or forward?

Look at the waste gate.
To increase the boost you make the rod shorter.
You should have a boost gauge before you do this though, 15 PSI is about all the head gasket will stand.
