You can look for 18# at the most. What are you getting?

Was looking at this
Stewart Warner Performance
the local shop has it in stock. I would have to wait for 2 months for the 30psi.
But i cant work out the installation guide.

If you are going to stay stock, 30# is plenty. If you are going to mod your truck, 40# is plenty. I have a 40# gauge and I can't peg it YET.

If you can make anything over 35psi of boost, you don't need to be asking us. You need to be telling us what you are doing. I can make about 34psi.

I would only get the 60 PSI cause they dont have the 30 .
But the sensors on the other gauges i looked at install into the intercooler spider. I cant work out where these ones go.

There is no sensor for a boost gauge. It either "T"s into the boost line going to the map sensor or taps into the spider like you said.

EDIT: I guess there is a sensor. map.

Is the T in the boost line just as effective as the tap in the spider ?

if you look at my spider you can see a black rubber hose at the bottom of the spider going over the IC pipe and going to the Map sensor to the left.the dial you see is my boost fooler..the sensor is right under it...look closer and you can see my boost gauge tube right behind the map line..i have mine going into the spider where the AIT used to be..

the trans sensor i think is a 1/8 inch NTP..it goes on the driver side of the trans about midway and just above the lip of the drain pan..you will see a plug in that port..pull the plug out and the new sensor should go right in...

So its sits on that bracket that comes of the firewall. Thats where I will T in the boost guage.
Just had to make sure with the trans temp gauge that the sensor was 1/8 npt. it is.
Things are a little different over here, but this time we are lookn good.
should get my gauges tommorrow. when I get them installed i will put up some pics.
btw, thats a smart lookn engine. WD
