Build & price tool on Ford's web page
How close are the "build and price" amounts from Ford's web pages to actual MSRP? Dealer says he can't give me X-plan price until he has the invoice in his hand.Ordered 350 dually August 16 and still waiting.

Cars direct isn't much help to those of us north of the 49th.In your experience is the Ford USA web built & price fairly accurate? If it is the Canadian Ford web site should be accurate as well. Dealer tracked my truck to Vancouver so I should be driving it in a few days.

My experience with Ford's website IN THE PAST was not good, as the numbers weren't reliable. Of all of them, CarsDirect seems to be the most accurate. I hope Ford has worked the bugs out of their system, but it's been at least 2 years since I've tried it; I just haven't had a need to use it since.

If your truck is already in Vancouver it is just an Allied Freight Systems ride away. Your dealer should have had the invoice for a few weeks already. In Canada X-plan will be a $300-$500 over invoice.

Picked up the new beast today. She's a beauty.It is going to take a little bit to get used to the trans and clutch.The engine is so quiet and smooth it hard to take off without stalling or chirping the tires.You can't feel anything through the gas pedal.

Two weeks ago I dang near wore out the Build & Price option looking for an '06 Mustang. It was almost to the dollar.
It really ticks me off the dealers don't keep their inventory status up to date on their web sites. One dealer told me it had been 3 weeks since he updated it.
