let me get this straight- i am a little unsure about what you are asking- you want a chip for a 6.0 ENGINE with a manual transmission? it seemed like you wanted a chip for the transmission. i would check TS Performance, or get a custom burn somewhere. i hear alot of good from TS.

Wouldn't a big bottle of pep pills from a truck stop be more than enough to speed up the shift points in a manual? Seriously though, what are you asking, a tuner for the engine or transmission?

You know, he's basically posting the challenging comment "is the best product for the auto, also the best product for the manual?"
Read the superchips thread (recent posts).
Believe it or not, the manual transmission can still be tuned.
It has a calibration (much like the autos) that reduces torque under some circumstances, and a flash tuner can get around this.

Sorry about the mix up guys. I mean a tuner for the engine. Everywhere I go to buy a chip they say I can't get one because I have 6spd. and I need to have an auto.

I honestly don't know of one that WON'T work with the 6 speed. I think whoever told you that is an idiot, quite frankly...

So witch chips or programers get rid of the "torque reduction" that was mentioned above on vehicles equiped with a 6 speed? I have asked similar questions related to the 6.0 and 6 speed before, but the conversation always slides back to the autos.
