Hey does anybody know where i can get custom floor mats for my 2005 Ranger ...id like to have heavy duty rubber ones. winters here in Indiana can get snowy. The Dealer wants 100.00$ for the pair...Id hate to pay that much I know there is something out there that is just as good for less green...thanks.
I have a set of some Catch-All" floor mats from Nifty that work great in my Ranger in the winter and spring (I use my OEM "Ranger" embroidered mats in the summer/fall). I don't know if they come in heavy duty rubber but you can check out their site:
floor mats? what are these floor mats you speak of? I have a rubber/vinyl type flooring in my truck, so I need not floor mats, just take the blower and clean house once in awhile.
If I need new floormats, I would use something like the rubber conveyor belts are made from. that stuff is rugged as can be, and lasts like nothing else. plus you can cut it to shape for your trucks cabin, cover the whole floor in it, and jsut take the broom when its time to clean the truck out.
The OEM rubber floor mats on my FX4 Level II will probably hold a quart of water and not spill. Maybe try to junkyard them or buy them from the dealer using a business name to lower the cost by 20-40%. I haven't seen an aftermarket one that quite compares, IMO.
I picked up some heavy duty rubber NOS flame mats (colour matched my truck, gotta love 'em). Still good, got them I believe at Walmart, looked all over for blue ones, no luck, went in to get food actually and stumbled across them on sale. Not bad for a car part from Walmart.
