Gents; How do I id Aussied heads in the salvage yeard. I live in Las Vegas and there are lots of olds auto's in the yards. I believe I'll be looking for 1975 on up Ford cars or trucks but I don't know the Aussie part numbers. Thanks!

Dave, Ford of austrailia made some really cool stuff, especially for the cleveland series. If you jump over to the engine building/performance forum maybe some of the guys know how to id the parts. But I would doubt you'd find any in a Vegas salvage yard, this stuff is from Austrailia! DF

The Australian heads for the 351C were basicly the 2BBL castings with the 4BBL valves. It's really not quite that simple but you get the idea. They have huge valves and round tunnel ports. They're like 429/460 heads that fit the 351C block. If you do find these rare heads in a wrecking yard you'll also want the manifolds to match. Good luck. your best bet is to get some after market ones. Hope this helps. Of course you can always get regular Cleaveland heads. I've found that the 2BBL heads with the right manifold and carb can be very street friendly.
