I Have A 2003 F-250 Sd, And Am Thinking Or Installing A Lund Sun Visor.
Has Any One Done This?
Do You Like It?
Does This Cut Down On Gas Milage?
Can You Also Run A Bug Deflector? I Have Heard This Upsets The Air Flow , And Will Cause The Mounts On The Visor To Loosen.
I Would Appreciate Any Comments Good Or Bad.
Thank You - In Advance
I have one on my truck, it dosn't seam to cut down on gas mileage, I've had it on over a year now. I like the looks of them alot, however the wind noise increased a little bit. I had to take off a bug shield as the visor would start rattling a little at 60mph. Other than that I like them, I dont think they are well liked on here but I like it.
I believe there is an oem factory visor with clearance lights molded in that either came as an option or standard with some certain package .Or At least there is one diagram showing that in my set of factory service manuals for 2002. Looks like headliner is removed and studs go through the roof and even has a wiring routing pictoral.

....... and it is extremely noisy! The vibration at highway speeds is unbearable. Because of the bolt holes, it will take some body work if I take it off.
I never thought that the bug deflector might be the culprit though... I will try removing that first and see if the visor noise improves.
