MBRP exhaust something to be worried about?
Last weekend I installed a MBRP exhaust from the turbo back on my 2003 cc f250 psd. Installation was easy other then a small leak that was patched between the mid pipe and the cat. After installation I covered the tail pipe with some cardboard to send the exhaust back through the pipe to look for other leaks. A lot of air comes out where the muffler attaches to the mid pipe. When I remove the cardboard everything is fine. I cant hear what I believe to be the leak over the diesel. When I am gas it at about 2000 rpm's you can hear the turbo real well, this sounds good, but I cant really tell if there is air leaking or not. I guess the question at hand is when I put send the exhaust back through the pipe and it leaks is that a large problem? or is this normal?

There should be no leaks whatsoever in the exhaust system. You will find a weep hole in the muffler to let condensation out. Any exhaust leaks, however small is dangerous to anyone in the cab. As you drive the truck, a slight vacuum occurs. If your cab has any openings in it, it will draw the exhaust in. Very unpleasant side effects (death) can occur. Carbon Monoxide is oderless.

Thanks for the reply, maybe leak was the wrong word. I can hear a little air comming out between the muffler and the pipe. I tightened the brackets a little more and that helped, but am trying to make the pipe as airtight as possible. The air is only comming out at that one area and only very little.
