Cruise Control?
My 79 f250 CC worked before,it stopped working. I need to test the bo
under dash) and the deal that pulls the chain under the hood.How do you test this stuff.Tested everything else with the ohm meter,it's just those two things I dont now how to test.

I don't know how to test it. Does your speedo work? I believe the older systems had a little short speedo cable hooked up near the firewall. This added in short piece has a sensor in it. I pulled one out of a 79 cougar, and tested it with my meter. With an old analog meter, you can twirl the cable and watch the needle wiggle back and forth. I can't remember if I was on an AC scale or a DC scale though.
