Help identifying transmission!!!
I've been looking for the trans codes and found some on the sides as well on the cover. At the drivers side it says C-2605276 and above it there is a circle with a L inside. on the cover it has the ford logo and below it says RF-E5TR-7222 then below there is another circle with the letters DA inside. on the other half of the cover I found another code C-2605317. any suggestions of what it could be? It is a 4 speed manual with right-down reverse. I also found a tag on the trans passenger's side and it says
AAOKG022
85TY AA 0658
AAOKG022
85TY AA 0658

It sounds to me like it's probably an np435, but I couldn't say for sure. The t-18 and t-19 usually have a 13-01 or 13-09 in the casting numbers but there are some that don't. What year is the truck?
Does it have a little NP insignia on it anywhere? Usually they have a picture of a gear with 'NP' in the middle.
The t-19 btw has a syncro first so you can shift into it when moving.. the t-18 and np435 doesn't so you can't (unless you double clutch).
I have a t-18 and three np435s in my collection . What I'd like best tho is a t-19. They are all amazingly reliable/strong though.
