351M Timing
Howdy I have a 79 F-250 Supercab 2wd 351m C-6 Dana 61 3.07
I have been playing around with the timing, tried setting it at 8-10 degrees to start, it ran poor So I advanced it using my vacuum gauge as a reference, and when it was pinging I backed it off. Then I put the light back on and it says it at about 25BTDC Is there something happening with the timing chain?? Am I missing something here?? Thanks for your time.
