Wondering if anybody out there has these tires with some miles on them? Thinking about a set of 285/75/16 for my '04 F250. Do they hold up good to the weight of a diesel? Thanks
I just put them on mine, My brothe has them on his dodge 1500 and his f-350 PSD. They hold up well and have good off-road capabilities. Bothe fords have 35" and the dodge has 33" tires.
Bought those exact tires from Discount Tire last December and love them so far. They've managed ~20K miles on my '95 F-350 PSD and the rear tires still have ~50% tread, the fronts slightly more. They have held up to lots of miles pulling livestock trailers, on and off-road use, and lots and lots of dog pee without a problem. They seem to handle and grip very well in a variety of conditions.

I got a set of 305/70R16 Terra Grapplers just after buying my truck
I am very happy with them
Had 305 Terra's on my 2004 F150 and after 25K needed new ones...ride was good but for the price they get for these tires I would like more tread life...was on my second set at 30K when I sold my F150 for a 2006 F250...probably will not put Nitto TG's on this truck.
I have a complete set that are the 365/65 R 16 in my shed. They only have about 3K miles on them. I took them off when I put the next lift and the new 37" claws on. I will make you a deal on the set if your interested, shoot me a PM and I will get back to you ASAP. (These were like $300 off the shelf apiece). Just let me know.
i ran a set of 295/75/16 on the stock truck, lasted about 17k. took em off, put on some 315/75/16's after the lift, and rotate em every 3k (along with oil change) and they have lasted 32k so far, rears have about 20% tread left, and fronts about 30%. they are garbage in powder snow, they pack up, and turn into slicks. wet snow, fine. rain, pretty darn good, for a truck with over 600ftlbs at the tires, anything will get squirrelly!
for the price, they are darn hard to beat! i get mine from tires.com, and think they ran about 150-155 per tire last time.
make sure you rotate the heck out of em..and if you see some moderate mud, don't even try it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i speak from experience here...LOL)
I love my set, they will last about 45K with good rotation and maintenence. I've got about 35k so far and don't see the need to replace for at least 10k more.
