Whenever I bought a used vehicle, I always changed the fluids. My Bronco had over 130,000 on it when I got it and it was obviously never changed. Im not that trusting of previous owners, come on...besides us here, who really thinks about tranny fluid?? My opinion only. If in doubt, flush it professionally.

mine had over 180k on it and fluid had never been changed within 2 -3k i lost reverse and neutral became a forward gear when the fluid came out it was black as coal and was so rancide smelling i needed a resperator to be around the stuff that should definately say something there, needless to say i replaced the trans
