Well i finally got rid of the six gun and ordered a 4 pos TS chip just don't think i was getting what i paid for in the six gun going to install today hope it was worth the wait. I'll let everbody know how it turns out.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I think Banks is just a bunch of hype. The product is "probably" good, but it is way over-priced. Some folks just don't know what they are missing.
Well just got back from the test test drive big diference fro, what i was used to but do have a couple compaints egt get up there reall fast im not able to stay into it long before it starts reaching the 1300 mark, and im getting some weird noises kinda hard to explain but i think it sounds like it is comeing from the turbo but not sure it got dark on me today i'll fool with it tommorow, and lastly on the 120 setting it kick on ses light but i think it was because it was overboosting boost got up to 25 i have a overboost kit just need to do a lil adjusting but any body else have this chip and are you experiencing these strange noises like i am or is there something wrong here. Thanks in advance
I have the 6 pos TS chip, i don't hear any noise difference. But when i switch to my last setting Fuel 7(140 Extreme they call it) my idle rpms drop and my engine sounds a little different at idle. I don't seem to have many egt problems. I used to get the ses light too, installed a boost relief valve and havn't seen it since.
The noise im kinda hearing sounds like the turbo is fluttering thats the best way i think i can describe it, but i heard it again when i drove home this mornin from work. Sometimes u can hear it when u ease into the throttle and other times i can hear it when i let off it.

Your turbo intake wheel is stalling. Common problem with the later 7.3's You can easily fix it with some turbo upgrades starting with a Wicked Wheel and/or and ATS housing all the way up to a shiny new Garrett ball bearing turbo.
I think i might try the wicked wheel first then go from there and think else kinda cheap that i can do, gota fork out some big bucks shortly for tires so the turbo will have to wait a while.

I put in the WW on my truck and it completly cured the problem. You can find them for (I think) around $70.00 - 80.00 nowadays.
where would be a good place to get a wicked wheel does black cloud sell them, just done a search and could not find them on there, just wondering were everbody is buying there stuff from.

EDIT: IMO you don't need the Turbo Air Guide that they are selling along with it. I agree with thier thinking and if I had lot's of money to throw around I would buy them. But you don't need them to cure compressor stall with the new wheel. At least on mine, it didn't.
