Guys I'm looking for some good brake calipers for my 94. I've got the auto zone ones on it now and it pulls like a freight train to the left when I hit the brakes, I've replaced gear box, rotors, steering linkage, brake hoses, pads, all new suspension bushings and ball joints, is there something other than calipers that would cause it to pull bad to the left?
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
Kenny
Sounds like you have exhausted the other suggestions I would have made. Might try a better quality remanufactured caliper. I am not sure about these days, but I know that it used to be that AZ's "lifetime warranty" didn't necessarily mean they were any better, it just meant they were cheap enough in quality that AZ didn't sweat handing you a new one every couple of months.
I have some az calipers that I put on my Bronco just a couple of months ago. It now pulls to the left bad, and it never did it until the calipers were added. I will just let it be, I am getting ready to leave for 2 years and my rig will just be sitting. No point of fixing it!
Changing out the gear box is a piece of cake if you can get your pitman arm off. It's worth the money to buy a pit man arm puller, cost is under $20.00 I would remove the pit man arm while the box is still mounted on your Bronco if you don't have an impact wrench handy.

Thanks I have the pitman arm puller, I have already changed the seal that goes in the where the pitman arm is. I have changed the steering pump. so now I guess it is time to change the steering box. How long did it take you and where did you get the box from?
If you don't have any trouble getting the pitman arm off, it shouldn't take more than a hour, two at the max. I bought the box from an local parts store that my brother in law works at.
I did one a few months ago, I got it from Napa. Been very happy with it, but couldn't do it without the puller. You'll also need a large socket for the nut - make sure you have one that fits before you rip it apart.
ford390gashog - Kragen's parts are even worse than autozone's! The only thing I'd buy there is a can of seafoam.
I went to Napa today bought two new calipers put them on and checked my brake lines for damage and still the same problem. I've had the Bronco for 3yrs. now and when I rotate the tires I always check the rear brakes, but they have never been rebuilt since I've had the rig. So that got me thinking if one rear isn't working correctly it would cause the Bronco to pull also. So I called Pep Boys from work and they have pulled a set of Raybestos wheel cylinders and shoes, I'll pick them up tomarrow. If this doesn't fix it the only thing left is that very expensive ABS valve in the engine compartment.
