xcal2

do i really need to dyno my truck after installing xcal 2 tune on 04 f150 5.4

No. But it's a wise idea to do some datalogging.

thanks for the quick reply my understanding is you need to dyno it to grt a/f ratios which is important on the new 5.4 three valve. but this is sure confusing stuff

From: Enjoying the real world.
If you're running a stock truck no datalogging is needed. If you have any sort of intake kit on it then its a good idea to check out a/f, because some aftermarket intakes throw off the reading on the MAF.
