I'm trying to order the Engine Coolant Temp sensor from the dealer for the computer (as opposed to sending unit for the temp gauge) and was told there are two kinds, round pin and flat pin. The location of the sensor is incorrectly described in Haynes book, and I have no idea where it is. I see a wire going under the intake manifold on driver side, front of the engine but the part it is connected to is not visible. Is it the ECT sensor? If not, any idea where it is?
