Are the bed sides on the 1990 F150s replaceable? Like, are they just spot welded in? The reason I'm asking is because my F150 needs new bedsides. The wheel arches are rusted, they're all dented up, and they just don't look good. If they are replaceable, does anyone know where I can get some new ones? How much would they cost? Thanks for any help.
Yes they are replaceable, aproximately 100 bucks a panel. Just go to autobody shop and ask them where they order there replacement fenders from. Don't get used panels it will be cheaper to get new ones and weld them in. I was looking for a tailgate, auto wreckers wanted $250. Brand new was $175. then of course to have to get it painted or paint it yourself if you want.
well i have a autobody replacement panel book at work that has prices from 2003 and there probably around 100- 150 bucks per side, want the phone number???
Yeah, I've got the LMC catalog. I got it Friday. New bedsides definetly aren't cheap. But, I'm having a hell of a time finding a donor bed. Even if I find one, what's the chances that the paint's going to match? Not very good. So, no matter what route I go, I'm going to need to repaint. I'm thinking I might just go with LMC. Mainly because I also need a driver side rocker panel, new outside mirrors, new doors, new rear bumper, new arm-rests, and new seat upholstery. I've got a lot of saving-up to do. lol. Thanks for the responses guys!
