well Romer, great news. The sub works now. here's the problem. None of my other speakers do when I turn Amp Cancel On. The sub is pumping right into my back, but no other speakers are playing any music at all.
Suggestions? Thank you SOOOO much though!!!

Sounds like the amp cancel turns off the internal amp of the HU. You can take a look at the owners manual here:
http://www.clarion.com/usa/support/manuals/index.html

The suggested wiring example shows external amps being used.

Yep it's going to turn the other speakers off because it out sources the power from the internal amp to an external amp. Good news is the sub works, bad news is you need an amp for your rull range sound now. I don't know why they would make it where you can't run both at the same time.

Well I must say that's one of the strangest things I have ever seen. *long deep sigh* Now I can't decide whether to keep the sub and amp and just play bass loud for my friends, then toggle the sub select off to play the full range. There isn't enough room in my Ranger for another amp really, and I can't even imagine how to run the full system into another amp.
I guess I will just leave the sub and amp for that kick effect, for those times all I was is some good pumping bass to impress my friends (I know only one other person who has subs and his system SUCKS, he has two huge 12's running off of a Bolt amp that's rated at 75w x 2 at 4ohms and he wired it wrong, it is insanely weak).
Thank you all very much for your help. I'll look around for an amp to run the full-range speakers.

Well whenever you save up money in order to buy something, and then it doesn't work, you have to do what you can to get it to work.

Yeah exactly, and I don't want to spend money on the Pioneer when it has features I don't want and will definetly never need.
I'll think about the five channel amp. I guess the HU assumes that is what you would buy. But I am a high school kid who doesn't work during school. So I have not much money, I gotta ask my parents for money for anything. Getting my subs and amp took a bit of convincing as it was. I can sell the subs to buy a higher quality one and focus on big bass and be happy. But I don't know about getting enough cash to get a new sub AND a five channel amp, even if I sell the Bolt.
Any more suggestions?
