I know that I have a 3.55 LS, and Im guessing that the "88" means its an 8.8". But Im wondering what everything else means? Can anyone help me?

It was made at the Sterling Plant and is a 3.55:1 LS 8.8" and made on 5 of April 1997.
S = Sterling Plant
869B = inter plant code
R = possible interchange
3L55 = 3.55:1 LS
88 = 8.8"
7 = 1997
D = April
05 = 5th day of mouth
Can you please tell me what truck this was found in? (year,engine,tranmission)
