brother, i feel your pain...! i totaly understand your frustration... but.. you have to remember, these engines are capable of MUCH MORE POWER than what they are setup for stock... now.. it would be a waste of money for ford to put a turbo on these trucks that can do more than the stock setup needs.... so they don't... you and i are just in that group of guys that wants that extra power and performance... just look at your truck... you didn't add the lift and the wheels and tires just to look good..! those upgrades allow your truck to perform beyond the stock specs... same with the tuner... the only problem is what we have run into... the wall... you upgrade the intake, the exhaust, then you add a tuner... AWESOME...! then... you go to tow something heavy up a big hill... and you find out that you need to upgrade the turbo... sorry about that, but you kinda knew that it was gonna be the case... you upgraded everything else, now the turbo is the weak link... sorry man... i'm in the same boat...!
The purpose of this message is not to highjack but to inform you that the cure for the compressor stall is easy. I too had bad compressor stall even with stock fuel programming and the Wicked Wheel fixed it completly. I made a recording and posted it in this thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=414440
