[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-Jul-02 AT 00:01 AM (EST)]my '75 F250 camper special xlt 133"wb came factory with a dana 60 with 3.73:1 axle sway bars front and rear big radiator 460/c-6 wiring package dual batt. tranny cooler dual tanks and big brakes and 8100lbs gross on the door.
78 f250 ranger camper special huge radiator "cant even find a shroud for it" 400 c6 a/c c/c 355 gears 4x4 I got it as stock as it could be and have done very few mods.
Has anyone with the 4x4 f250 camper special put on a tire they like for all around either a 16.5 or a 16 and had a camper, towed a boat say 20'.
I'm looking at a bf goodrich 295/75/16 all terrain but am more than curious what you guys have found.
Will the 16" rim fit with those big brakes?
And is on line the place to buy tires or should a person stay local?
This is not my daily driver and I want a good all around tire something to do fairly good offroad wear good and still have the ability to handle a load without squating too much.
I have that rad on my 460, and I think I know where to get a shroud. Problem is the shipping will probably be bad!
Big bad rad, aren't they? I took mine out today and compared to my 351M rad... HUGE difference in size!

It is in Calgary. Never looked too closely at the condition, though...
If you want, I can try to go in the next few days to see if the truck is still there at all?
