Random nonsense!
Just a fun observation and a moment of triumph...haven't been on here in a while...
Drove through the TX hill country a little over a week ago and outside of Hutto (home of the Hutto Hippos) there's a big, multi-make dealership. They're either having some lighting problems or just decided to tell the truth about things because in the dark one lot shows up as 'Covert Chevrolet' and the other lot shows up as 'Overt Ford'. Guess I'd keep quiet about the cheby's too
The moment of triumph is...I JUST FINISHED MY MASTER'S PAPER!!! Yeah, it still has to go through my committee, and I still have to take my orals and finish up this semester's classes, but the paper is DONE! (Until my committee tells me about all the things I have to change, but I'm enjoying my moment of triumph anyway!)

Props to you for pulling off the thesis!
I can already say that if I get through my bachleors degree while I am still doing shifts at the plant, I am going the Non-Thesis route for the MIE/MBA program at UofH.
Oh well, gotta catch up on school work I already fell behind on, and watch to see if Rita will take out the area. There definitely will not be the NOLA apathy of "Oh, a CAT ~5 at sea level won't be THAT bad! We're staying put!" around my house (and beyond) this week.
My friend lives in Texas City which is across the causeway from Galveston and we are both off this weekend from our respective plants....he won't be riding this one out, if push comes to shove by this time next week. A hurricane party between boys? Maybe. Will at least one of us need furniture? I hope not, but nature isn't really ever in a caring mood.
